Project: Shutdown Launch Trailer

Project: Shutdown (VR)

Project: Shutdown is an interactive stealth shooter where players are immersed into the game environment using the HTC Vive. Players will explore their environment while avoiding enemies and taking some of them out along the way. Equipped with a trusty gun and stun baton. Along their journey players will gain knowledge on how to avoid enemies, learn to use new weapons, and be challenged by increasing levels of AI enemies. The challenges will be hard but the rewards will be plenty as you fight to take back your world from the control of robots.

Cyclotron

You find yourself head to head in the ultimate strategy racer game. It’s you, your pod, and your trail. How will you survive ‘The Gauntlet?’

Intelligently navigate around the map, slowly trapping your opponent! Doing so allows you to face your next increasingly difficult opponent. Race your way through the ranks, trying to reach your goal of Ultimate Racer.

There are a number of levels, each level presenting a more difficult opponent than the last. It is your wit and quick thinking that will allow you to move on.

Do you have what it takes?

Yozakura

In Yozakura, you play as the lone guardian of The Sacred Cherry Blossom. Samurai Bots bent on industrializing the world have stolen the blossom and are harboring it inside their castle walls. You must retrieve the seed and return it to the shrine in order to rebuild a beautiful natural world once again.

This game was particularly interesting due to the required theme we were to follow. The theme, layers, allowed for us to add quite a bit of depth, both figuratively and literally, to the game. The player is allowed to move left, right, aways and towards; a scheme that doesn't generally happen in a side scroller.
